I have a wonderful chant teacher who lives on the Big Island. Her name is Kehau Hori. She grew up on the Big Island and attended Aunty Margaret Machado's Lomi Lomi program in the 1990's. Kehau was also one of my hula teachers on the Big Island. She is a woman of many talents!
Kehau gave me permission to teach others a chant she wrote a few years ago when the Big Island was experiencing a drought. I asked if I could try it here in Wisconsin this past summer...I was able to teach it to others. I'm pretty sure the Hawaiian Gods helped us out:) Mahalo Ke Akua for sending the clouds and the rains:)
